Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Academic Advisor provides educational services and support to program participants. Responsible for promoting services and providing key support to students. Provide support to the coordinator including assistance in developing/updating program materials, managing and collecting activity evaluations, cultivating and maintaining relationships with participants, tutors, parents and school staff.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Provide guidance and educational services to students; Meet regularly with students to review academic progress and develop short-term goals;Develop recommendations based on weekly discussions with students to best address challenges they may be facing; develop or provide resources on how to ensure academic success.
