211 Project Associate

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the 2-1-1 Associate will support the tactical work of assigned projects within Mission: Families strategy groups including those that directly affect individuals within our central New Mexico community who access and need referrals and who utilize the 2-1-1 referral line. The 2-1-1 referral line provides callers with information about a broad range of community, social, health, and government services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role will provide Information and Referral services to health and human services, government agencies, and community-based organizations; maintain accurate information and referral call records; assist 2-1-1 Coordinator in maintaining and updating community resource database; coordinate with mobile hub sites for related activities; meet regularly with the Executive Director and Director of Collective Impact to update and brief on project work; and support and lead projects as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Associate must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision; demonstrate strong communication skills including the ability to take high-quality meeting notes; and be able to build and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with Mission: Families stakeholders. They must have flexibility, independence, critical thinking, and decision-making skills; effective project/time management skills; and technology proficiency. Bachelor's degree, one year experience, and bilingual preferred.
