2 Community Support Workers (CSW's) needed

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Community Support Worker to provide CCSS to clients in the Recovery Outreach Program. Work with homeless adults in recovery program. This position is responsible for providing intensive Community Support for clients with severe mental illness and/or with substance abuse issues.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's degree in human services related field.
2. At least two (2) years substance abuse counseling
3. At least two (2) case management, direct care, or other CCSS-related employment.
3. Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of beginning employment.
4. Current New Mexico valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Clean driving record.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must maintain excellent contact with other team members, respond to crisis situations with other ROP staff and/or emergency services, transport clients to appointments and/or meet clients in the community, as needed, while encouraging clients highest levels of self-sufficiency. -Bilingual helpful
