NM Capital Outlay Quarterly Reporting

The Infrastructure Planning and Development Division (IPDD) invites you to a virtual training session on completing and submitting Q3 Quarterly Reports for capital outlay appropriations.

Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026

Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Format: Virtual (Microsoft Teams)

Who Should Attend: All entities with active capital outlay appropriations in the Capital Appropriations and Project System (CAPS) are required to submit a quarterly report per the terms of their grant agreement. This includes state agencies that either receive capital outlay directly and/or oversee the administration of capital outlay for local entities. Quarter 3 reports are due no later than March 31, 2026.

What Will Be Covered: The training will include a step-by-step walkthrough of the quarterly report submission process, followed by a Q&A session to address any questions or concerns. Key fields that will be reviewed include:

• Amount Expended
• Amount Obligated
• Balance
• Budget and Timeline Status
• Project Phase
• Reversion/Reauthorization
• Goals and Milestones
• Project Timeline Status
• Project Photo (Optional but Recommended)

Action Requested IPDD strongly encourages all entities and state agencies to begin the report submission process prior to the training so that any questions or issues encountered can be addressed during the Q&A session.
