Working Together Better: Creating Meaningful Outreach and Sustainable Collaborations

Presented by: Sian Young

Target Audience: Nonprofit Executive Directors, Program Managers, Development Directors, Board Members

Nonprofits are being increasingly asked to expand their outreach programs and to work with other organizations in both public and private collaborations. These programs and collaborations often offer nonprofits a unique opportunity to amplify their mission reach and effectiveness, but can also present new operational challenges. In this interactive seminar, we will explore the benefits and pitfalls of outreach and collaboration and discuss methods to better ensure shared responsibility and positive outcomes. Session participants will have the opportunity to share success stories or challenges that their organizations have faced in creating collaborative programs. This session will provide participants with tools to use in either starting new outreach and collaborations or improving those they already have in place.

During this time, the organization focused on using artistic experiences as an opportunity for celebrating local creativity, presenting diverse programming, creating community collaborations, and challenging cultural perspectives while committing to soun financial and organizational management.
