Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We seek volunteers for the following functional areas:
Community Action Board: Members of the community who are passionate about supporting the performing arts across New Mexico and have the ability to liaise with the community in Albuquerque, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Ruidoso and Roswell
Events: Looking for people who enjoy putting on music-related fund and friend-raising events
Studio: People who have knowledge/and or interest in classical music and support the many functions of radio programming
Clerical: People who enjoy data entry and various office functions such as filing, printing, layout/design organizing, and working in Microsoft Office

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

KHFM broadcasts and streams 24/7. We provide the beauty and joy of classical music to anyone who has access to a radio or internet; specifically, seniors who do not have mobility to drive to performances, and youth through podcasts and special programming opportunities; we collaborate with many New Mexican performing arts organizations to help them broaden their audiences
