Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Commit to spending at least one year in a relationship with a mentee. spend two hours weekly engaged in mutually agreed-upon activities with their mentee. Communicate weekly by telephone or email , just keep in touch about what is going on in their lives. Serve as a positive role model by modeling desirable behaviors. e.g. Serve as a positive role model. , establish appropriate boundaries , be encouraging and supportive of the mentee.
Help the mentee develop a milestone plan for completing high school and going on to college or work.
