Dates Volunteer is Needed: 
Seeking volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule between March and November.
Number of Volunteers Needed: 
20
Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Ability and interest to work with and on behalf of autistic children and adults in an innovative autistic-led program. Specific areas of opportunity include:
Equine assistants: Caring for the horses, tack, equipment.
Teaching Assistants: Side-walkers (with horses), equine leaders, classroom assistants
Office Assistants: Administrative tasks, including assisting with online scheduling program
Marketing: Assisting with marketing and promotion; organizing promotional activities
Technology/webpage: Assisting with developing and maintaining webpage
Special: Networking advocate for Wilderwood, promoting the program within the community

We also hold regular "Volunteer Days" events throughout the year to work on projects that can be completed in one day or less. These opportunities are great for groups.
