Mission Statement:

New Mexico Interfaith Power & Light engages faith communities and individuals in an active response to climate change.

Primary Programs:

NMIPL is one of twenty-nine state affiliates of the growing Interfaith Power & Light campaign, which engages people of faith in an active response to catastrophic climate change. NMIPL represents more than one hundred faith communities throughout the state, including Jews, Buddhists, Roman Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, Quakers, Unitarians, and Mennonites. NMIPL assists its member and partner congregations with educational resources, tools for improving energy efficiency and reducing energy costs, and opportunities for public advocacy.
