Mission Statement:

To improve the health and wellness of the people of Picuris Pueblo and the 16 villages in the Peñasco Independent School District. Health is defined holistically including physical, emotional, economic, educational, environmental and spiritual health.

Primary Programs:

SPOT Service Navigation Office is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. We also have a Wellness Studio with yoga and other healing practices and an Art Maker Coop with weekly art sessions and bimonthly workshops, a Youth Center and other projects soon to come.

The SPOT for Community Wellness is a program of the Picuris-Peñasco Community Coalition. It is a public office open for information and referral services. The SPOT also runs both a clothing and food distribution, a summer youth agriculture program with Seeds of Change, a children's literacy program with the Rotary Club of Angel Fire, supports the work of Taos MEN, and hosts a health fair every year with the support of the Picuris-Peñasco Community Coalition and its members.
