Mission Statement:

To provide all veterans and their families an opportunity to find health, healing, community purpose, and new challenges through adventure and adaptive paddle sports!

Primary Programs:

TRR is an all volunteer 501(c)(3), veteran serving organization, providing free recreational and adaptive paddle sports activities to all active duty military, veterans, their families and caregivers. TRR welcomes all wounded warriors, veterans and family members, who have physical, vision, and hearing impairments to experience adaptive paddle sports.

Local recreational canoeing, kayaking, rafting and SUP events are offered across the US through our 60 chapters. In addition, TRR provides paddle sports skills training, pool sessions for skills development during the off-season and inclement weather. In addition, TRR provides opportunities to compete in local, regional and national sanctioned whitewater and flat water paddle sports competitions for traditional and adaptive athletes.

In 2018, Veterans and their family members participated in 1,700 paddle sports events provided by TRR’s 65 Chapters across the US.

Eddylines - electronic newsletter detailing how TRR is empowering our Veterans through paddle sports!

Kayakers for Good - Vet-to-Vet Covid emotional and financial support for Veterans who are struggling during quarantine.

KAOS (Kids Are OuttaSight) - TRR provides kayaking to blind and visually impaired children in our local communities!

OuttaSight Blind "B's" Football Team - TRR National Kayak Football League (NKFL) tournaments.

OuttaSight Blind Slalom Competition - individual athletes compete on a slalom kayak course.

OttaSight Series - TRR teaches adaptive kayaking to blind and visually impaired participants. OuttaSight Flat Water and Whitewater Leadership Clinics.
