Mission Statement:
Tapetes de Lana is a non profit working to build rural economics through cottage industry and agriculture.
Primary Programs:
Tapetes de Lana has an art gallery where we promote rural artists. Our primary focus is on weaving and the production of high quality yarns made from local farmers. Our aim is to add value to the raw products (wool and other natural fibers) grown on small farms, locally, nationally.
We run a spinning mill, train weavers and promote sustainability on small rural farms.
