Mission Statement:

The Hope Foundation of New Mexico was established to raise funds for Hope Christian School. The mission of Hope Christian School is to pray for, equip and send Christ-centered passionate leaders to change the world.

Primary Programs:

Hope Christian School is a fully accredited school founded in 1976. Over 1,400 students are enrolled from Preschool through 12th grade.

Our initial purpose was to provide a good quality education for families who wanted a Christian alternative for their children. Today we offer much more including drama, music, art, broadcasting, a full sports program, extended after-school care, tutoring, as well as summer school and camps. From January 1st through December 31, 2008, 38 students were awarded $33,000 in financial aid.

Hope students excel in many areas throughout our academics, fine arts and sports programs. The graduating class of 2008 received over $2 million in college scholarship offers for a class of 93 students. 95% on average of our graduates go to college each year. Our students have won national awards in music and art and we continue to win state championships in basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track, cheerleading and drill team.

The educational philosophy of HCS is to partner with parents to contribute to the enlightenment, health and wholeness of every child. By attending Hope Christian School, students are more likely to become well-rounded, good and college educated citizens of our community with a financially prosperous future that will enable them to give back to the society from which they came. We are striving to meet certain academic, social and spiritual needs that will contribute to the total development of our students.
