Primary Programs:

Our programs address the health risks associated with cardiovascular disease and stroke and the positive lifestyle changes one can make, such as healthier eating habits and regular physical fitness, to live a longer, healthier life. Our cause programs are:

* Go Red For Women - focuses on educating women about their risks for cardiovascular diseases and stroke, their #1 and #3 health threats, and how to reduce their risk factors. http://albuquerquegored.ahaevents.org/

* Start! Walking Program - helps companies and individuals adopt more physical activity into their daily routines with free online fitness tools. The Start! Heart Walk celebrates choosing a healthier lifestyle. www.albuquerqueheartwalk.org

* Power to End Stroke - focuses on the high risk for African Americans to suffer from stroke and engages the public in Power Sunday events to raise awareness.
