Strengthen Your Community With AmeriCorps Funding

Are you interested in bringing a team of AmeriCorps members to your community or to your organization?

Since 1999, the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism (NMCCV) has supported hundreds of community-based organizations that are engaging local citizens to address their most pressing needs. NMCCV administers New Mexico AmeriCorps programs and invites applicants that are interested in receiving an operational grant to bring AmeriCorps Members to your organization, or a planning grant to design an AmeriCorps program, to apply this Spring.

All across the state, volunteers and national service participants help meet compelling community needs every day. Could national service help meet your organizational goals? Does your organization address one or more the following priority areas: Disaster, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environment, Veterans and Military Families? Are you interested in one of our special initiatives: My Brother’s Keeper, Multi-Focus Intermediaries, or Governor and Mayor Initiatives?

Join other organizations who have discovered the power of national service and develop a program that will involve friends and neighbors old and new in Getting Things Done for your community!
