RFP: AmeriCorps Volunteers, Deadlines Approaching!

Want Help Getting Things Done?

Since 1999, the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism (NMCCV) has supported hundreds of community-based organizations that are engaging local citizens to address their most pressing needs. The NMCCV administers New Mexico AmeriCorps programs and invites organizations interested in receiving an operational grant to bring AmeriCorps Members to your organization, or a planning grant to design an AmeriCorps program, to apply this Spring.

Meet Community Needs

All across New Mexico, volunteers and national service participants help meet compelling community needs every day. Could national service help meet your organizational goals? Does your organization address one or more the following priority areas: Disaster, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environment, Veterans and Military Families? Are you interested in one of our special initiatives: My Brother’s Keeper, Multi-Focus Intermediaries, or Governor and Mayor Initiatives?

Join other organizations that have discovered the power of national service and develop a program that involves friends and neighbors, old and new, in getting things done for your community!
