The Notah Begay III Foundation’s Native Strong: Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures Announces Promising Program Grant Opportunity

SANTA ANA PUEBLO, New Mexico (June 2, 2014) The Notah Begay III Foundation’s (NB3F) “Native Strong: Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures” national initiative today announced it is accepting proposals for its second round of Promising Program Grants. The purpose of Native Strong and the Promising Program Grant is to address childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes in Native communities. These grants allow NB3F to partner with Native communities to strengthen existing youth focused physical activity and/or healthy nutrition programs and build capacity for program evaluation. Application deadline is July 14, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. MDT
Grant awards up to $40,000
