Invest in a Girl

At Camp CEO, high school girls are paired with successful, female community leaders for a weekend-long personal development experience. In the remote setting of Camp Elliott Barker in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, girls will have the opportunity to learn by example through the lives of their adult mentors.

While developing greater self-awareness, the girls will increase their knowledge of career options in preparation for joining the workforce. They will have the opportunity to explore realistic career goals as they interview the “CEOs” and learn about their personal journeys. The adult CEOs will guide girls through a series of activities that teach them how to complete a job application, build a resume, and interview for a position.

The girls will take the DiSC© personality profile and learn how personalities affect their relationships in school, the workplace, and at home. They will learn to work successfully in groups and gain acceptance and respect for their opinions and beliefs. By the end of the weekend they will draft a career plan, expressing their vision and how they intend to achieve their dream.

Be a part of this life changing opportunity for our communities young women!
