Giving Back In A LOTA Ways

Giving food, giving time and a LOTA giving back

Throughout 2016, Blake’s Lotaburger proudly sponsored or donated food as well as time, talent and energy to dozens of organizations, associations and special events throughout New Mexico, Tucson, AZ and El Paso, TX. With a strong focus on community involvement, Blake’s Lotaburger catered all of the NM Special Olympic events from Albuquerque to Gallup and across the Land of Enchantment, resulting in over 3,600 donated burgers, breakfast burritos and a whole LOTA feeling great about being a part of this amazing organization. In addition, Blake’s Lotaburger worked hand in hand with local community programs such as ABQ Job Corp, APD/Operation Hope “Making a Difference” and Albuquerque Meadow Health Fair to reach those in need and to donate hundreds of burgers, breakfast burritos and beverages over the course of the year.

Although being active in our community is pretty awesome, in 2016 our crew members raised the bar.

“Getting involved” is something we don’t just talk about at Blake’s Lotaburger.

We are proud of our communities and welcome each and every opportunity to give back and get involved. In addition to our donations, Blake’s has also been a proud Corporate Sponsor for Albuquerque Isotopes, The Duke City Marathon, The brand new Steve Stucker KOB – TV 4 Morning Shift Salute, Kiwanis International SW District, The LifeROOTS Pi(e) Day Event, Freedom Fourth, Copper County Cruizers Toy Run and the KOAT – KOATS for Kids.

Here at Blake’s Lotaburger, we don’t just donate food or money, we donate a LOTA Heart.

Our employees proudly participated in the 2016 Lota Heart Challenge by volunteering their personal time and hard work to improving their local communities. Our crew members jumped at the opportunity to become involved in their own projects and participated in helping countless organizations such as the United Blood Services, The Sanctuary Zone, Joy Junction, Grants Animal Care Center, Deming Helping Hand organization, St. Joseph’s Shelter & Soup Kitchen, The Navajo Nation Library, Dog Head Fire Relief Efforts and so many more. Being an active part of the community –it’s not just about where we come from, it is who we are and how we can give back in a whole LOTA ways.
