Increasing Graduation Rates of Native Students

New Mexico Community Foundation is excited to announce the opening of the 2018 grant cycle for the Native American Preparatory Scholars (NAPS) Fund, an initiative and endowment fund that supports increasing the college graduation rates of New Mexico Native American students.

The 2018 NAPS Fund grant cycle is focused on efforts to support Native student persistence and completion of college. The NAPS grant program is intended to provide funding to New Mexico nonprofits, tribal programs, and institutions that support innovative and creative strategies and programs that encourage and prepare Native students to attend college, and/or increase the likelihood that Native students’ complete college. 

This grant cycle we will be utilizing a web-based application process.  Interested applicants click here and review the guidelines before creating a login profile.  

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 5th, 2018.
