The FAC offers a variety of free and confidential services for anyone who has experienced interpersonal violence; they include medical care, advocacy, legal and financial assistance, as well as law enforcement and prosecution.
Come learn how the unique design of the facility dramatically reduces the stress and trauma often placed on victims and their families by giving them access to a wide range of support services all at one single location.
The Family Advocacy is actually many different agencies and organizations. They include the Albuqueruque Police Department, Child Protective Services/CYFD, Crisis Outreachand Support Team (COAST), 2nd Judicial District Attorney, Domestic Violence Resource Center, Enlace Comunitario, New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission, New Mexico Asian Family Center, New Mexico Legal Aid, Para Los Niños, Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico, Albuquerque SANE (Sexual Assualt Nurse Examiners).
The Family Advocacy Center is a partnership with the United Way of Central New Mexico.
