Early Childhood Development & Health Symposium - April 23-24

Understanding and Concern

This is a significant moment in the history of our scientific understanding and socio-political concern about early childhood development and health (ECDH). The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center for Health Policy at the University of New Mexico is therefore convening national and local researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to address a series of questions intended to provide insights on how to improve ECDH outcomes in New Mexico. Collectively, the speakers seek to strengthen connections between several domains - understandings of development and health; local, national and global early childhood policy initiatives; and science/scholarship, practice, and policy.
