The PNM Fund is offering a grant to support your organization, help you and your clients save money and reduce your impact on the environment! Reduce Your Use Grants will help nonprofits stretch their budgets through energy savings. Implementing energy efficiency measures allows organizations to lower energy costs and put more dollars directly into programs.
Small energy efficiency investments can lead to lasting savings. When PNM volunteers provide free installation of simple energy-saving technologies to the homes of low-income seniors during our annual Weatherization Day project, the homeowners save an average of more than $50 per month during peak energy usage. Imagine your organization’s potential! Share this information with your clients and the savings multiply!
Start thinking now about how you could use these grants of up to $5,000 to improve your energy efficiency!
o Purchase Energy Star appliances
o Replace your incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents
o Install energy efficient windows
o Make a down payment on a solar panel

Online applications are being accepted from February 15 – April 15, 2010. Grants will be awarded in May 2010.
