Project Description: 

It's Pumpkin Patch season! Come to the Star Center in Rio Rancho and help stock pumpkins (a lot of pumpkins!), cashier, greet guests, care for animals, assist with the petting zoo & pig racing and more!
The Pumpkin Patch is GGYR's biggest event of the year and helps us provide a place where kids lead kids while learning how to raise animals, grow crops, explore the outdoors, and enrich the community.

More Details: 

Additional Volunteer Days/Information: Saturdays & Sundays, and the last two weeks (10/20 - 10/31) are very busy. However, we are open during the week and can use extra hands with field trips, stocking pumpkins, etc. as well. Volunteer all day, half a day or just an hour. Whatever you're able to contribute, we'd love the help!

Nonprofit/Agency will provide: 
We'll provide an opportunity for festive fall FUN! We may occasionally have drinks and snacks available, however, feel free to bring water and your own snack.

Additional Requirements: 
Work with others, take direction, physically able to stock pumpkins and/or a warm welcoming smile to greet guests, answer questions and/or direct traffic at the Pumpkin Patch. Wear closed toed shoes and casual clothing. Wear sunscreen, bring a hat, water and any special snacks you'd prefer.
