Main Areas of Responsibility: 

SkoCode members will be trained to present high-quality, culturally-relevant computer science learning activities to K-12 students throughout New Mexico. Members will be placed with a partner host site to achieve this; host sites are schools, afterschool programs, non profits, and regional computer science related events. Members will be responsible for capturing program impact through tracking student participation and administering surveys after activities have been delivered to students.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Members are responsible for regular communication and relationship building with those community partners who serve Indigenous students (IE host sites)Service locations available throughout New Mexico in McKinley, Bernalillo, and Rio Arriba Counties, please inquire. 30 hours/week, M-F (Some Weekends) - Serve 1200+ hours over 8+ months. Reliable transportation required.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Be 17 years or older, U.S. citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident, Posses a HS Diploma, GED, Pass mandatory Criminal History Check.
