Assist in managing and expanding our multi-channel communication and outreach strategy, increase brand awareness and maintain a favorable public image for the organization.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Identify messaging and content for use in external communications, monitor and analyze Google Analytics and social media insights, and work on special fundraising projects. This position requires a BA degree in communications, PR, marketing, journalism, or relevant field OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience; 1 year experience in communications, marketing, and/or PR– nonprofit experience strongly preferred.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Experience leading media relations, including crafting appropriate messaging, writing press releases, etc.; skilled in design to create materials/graphics by primarily using Canvas and Adobe Suite; proficient with MS Office Suite and software applications used in managing a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn); and a valid NM Driver’s License and good driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
