Public Policy & Advocacy Director

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Policy Director will be charged with advancing federal and state legislative and policy priorities, informing GNM members and stakeholders of key policy issues, and leading strategic advocacy. Another key priority of this role will be providing trainings, seminars, and workshops to our members and stakeholders through our Center for Nonprofit
Excellence (CNPE).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In this role, the Policy Director will advance and articulate GNM’s mission and policy platform to public officials and key decision makers while raising the visibility and importance of the social sector and its economic impact in New Mexico. This position will work closely with the CEO, our small GNM team, and key external partners and stakeholders to establish a policy platform and advocate for the sector.
