Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Officer will work closely with the Executive Director and Board to advance Brindle’s mission, relationships, and learning in New Mexico. As part of a small team, the role requires supporting day-to-day operations and collaborating with key stakeholders to inform strategy. This position may be full or part time; please include availability/interest in cover letter submitted.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Main areas of responsibility include: grant making and portfolio management; relationship building and community engagement; operational and administrative responsibilities; strategy, learning, and advocacy.

Qualifications
● Commitment to Brindle’s mission and values
● 3-5+ years of work experience in non-profit organizations, philanthropy, early childhood, public health, or related field
● Skilled in organizing information, record keeping, meeting preparation, etc.
● Comfort with accounting practices, including bookkeeping
● Strong technology skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to travel within NM
● Facility in Spanish or a Native language desired, but not required

This role is a hybrid position, combining remote work with in-person time in Santa Fe (on average, 3 days per week) and travel across the state for site visits and meetings.
