Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

You will be responsible for preparing, purchasing, storing, and serving food in accordance with USDA/CACFP and New Mexico Environmental Division and other related child nutrition policies and procedures.  
You must be able to adapt to daily fast-paced food service environment for young children and work cooperatively and supportively with center staff.  

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

You will ensure all activities and interactions will be in conformance with all federal, state, and local regulations, standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.

Other Information/Requirements: 

HSD or GED
A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; or Child Development Associate (CDA) or NM Child Development Certificate or willing to work towards requirements within a specific timeframe
1-2-years’ experience cooking for young children and/or others in a group setting or early childhood/public school setting.
First Aid/CPR Certified and Food Handler’s Certification or willing to obtain within the first 6-months of employment is required.
Fingerprint Background Check prior to employment
