Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Looking for meaningful work caring for animals?
Part-time animal caregiver position s with valuable on-the-job training supporting emotional and physical healing of animals. Animal caregiver responsibilities include all aspects of daily care and the feeding of dogs, horses and poultry, as well as the maintenance of their living areas, inside/outside.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Part-Time Animal Caregiver position offers an opportunity for individuals to develop the skills to support elder and hospice animal care, and non-profit sanctuary operations. Caregivers must be able to, in a short time, learn and practice our comprehensive Wellness Care program.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Sanctuary is a non-toxic environment on a 5-acre organic farm setting. Ideal for: Veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, nursing, nursing assistant or similar experience with companion animal, farm animal or human care. A commitment to ongoing learning is a requirement for this job.
