Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Food & Water Watch is looking for a part-time New Mexico Organizer to join our Organizing team and help support campaigns to protect our food, water, and climate. The Organizer will work closely with volunteers, allies and other staff at Food & Water Watch. This position must be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is primarily remote, with some in-person events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities:
- Recruit volunteers and allies.
- Participate in the development of campaign plans.
- Organize campaign tactics.
- Build capacity.
- Represent Food & Water Watch.
- Use digital tools.
- Know our issues.
- Build Food & Water Watch for the long haul.
- Carry out other projects as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a part-time, mostly remote, temporary grant-funded position for a one year term; this position is hourly and non-exempt.
