Main Areas of Responsibility:
Develops and coordinates curriculum for The Sky Center’s Natural Helpers peer-helping program; builds relationships with schools, counselors, and sponsors; trains and supports sponsors and student leaders; coordinates NH retreats and training; provides ongoing consultation; collects grant evaluation data; and serves as primary contact for participating schools, ensuring consistent, responsive implementation and strengthening peer-helping, leadership, communication, and suicide-prevention skills.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Conduct community outreach and program promotion throughout Northern New Mexico; develop partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders; lead school-based Inner and Outer Life Skills groups; provide classroom, school, and community trainings on Suicide Awareness and Prevention and The Sky Center’s Toolkit for Wellbeing; serve on the Postvention team; collaborate with staff and partners to identify needs, strengthen prevention, connect students to resources, and keep program records.
Salary Range:
26-28/hr depending on experience
