Main Areas of Responsibility:
Provide individual and group therapy and support for adults, older teens, and families living in Central NM. This includes clients involved in domestic violence (either as witnesses or victims), sexual assault, child abuse (both as witnesses or victims), neglect, dating violence, and stalking. Work with protective, non-abusive parents to strengthen the parent-child relationship. Collaborate with parents or guardians to create a safe environment and enhance their protective skills.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Hold a case-load of 20-22 clients plus facilitate a weekly parenting group. Collaborate with case managers, advocates, and community resources to ensure clients receive holistic support services. Facilitate crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary to protect client well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services. Participate in peer file checks during weekly client staffing with the clinical team.
