New Mexico Legal Aid seeks a paralegal for its Statewide Housing Stability program to assist with serving eligible clients threatened with loss of their housing. Responsibilities will be statewide. Additional Areas of Responsibility:

Under the supervision of the managing attorney for the Housing Stability project at NMLA, the paralegal will be responsible for litigation support and assistance to housing attorneys in issues such as eviction prevention, habitability, reasonable accommodations, subsidized housing, and other housing related work, and will also assist in designing statewide clinics and outreach programs.

At least three years' experience as a Paralegal is preferred but will consider exceptionally well qualified entry level candidates. Candidates also must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and build collaborative relationships within the staff and the community served by NMLA.
