Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Research and identify grant opportunities; write compelling proposals; collaborate with staff to develop narratives, budgets, and supporting materials; manage grant application timelines; ensure compliance with funder requirements; track awards, reporting, and deliverables; and support Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s fundraising and development goals through successful grant management.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Perform other duties as assigned; participate in staff meetings, trainings, workdays, and Garden events; represent the Garden professionally with members, donors, and the public; and maintain professional growth through approved conferences, certifications, seminars, and continuing education aligned with organizational priorities and role responsibilities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; grant writing certification preferred. Minimum five years of nonprofit grant writing and funder stewardship experience. Excellent writing, communication, organization, and analytical skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to the Garden’s mission with strong professionalism and relationship-building abilities.
