Main Areas of Responsibility:
Plays a vital support role for building systemic protections for animals in NM by assisting the passage of legislation to protect animals & opposing legislation harmful to animals in NM-at primarily the state level & occasionally the local and federal levels.

Attendance & monitoring of legislative activities
Research & data collection & analysis
Grassroots advocate correspondence & organizing
