Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of Paws and Stripes. The role is multi-faceted with responsibilities that include overseeing programs, strategic planning, fundraising, community outreach, employee development, and more. The Executive Director works collaboratively with the internal leadership team and reports directly to the Board of Directors.

• Fundraising, Development and Community Outreach
• Embeds Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all aspects of the organization
• Maintains and fosters Paws and Stripes’ distinctive culture; individual strengths, teamwork, humor, vulnerability, self-care

Other Information/Requirements: 

• A passion for and commitment to the Paws and Stripes mission and the clients served
• A bachelor’s degree (human/social services, public administration, business, or nonprofit management preferred) OR 7+ years of senior nonprofit leadership experience
• Ability to lead, collaborate with, and inspire a diverse group of employees, clients, and stakeholders

Salary Range: 
$85,000 - $100,000 DOE
