Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is a combination of providing outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and families impacted by child abuse, maltreatment, and trauma and providing supervision and clinical oversight for the Rape Crisis Center at La Pinon and the Trauma Treatment Center at La Pinon’s Children’s Advocacy Center.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Keep files updated with current assessments, treatments plans, supervision reviews, and changes in client demographic information. Provide information for client satisfaction survey, as needed. Adhere to State of New Mexico and CYFD regulations. Maintains documentation regarding critical incidents (e.g. suicidal ideation, welfare checks). Refers to higher level of care as clinically indicated i.e. medication evaluation, psychiatric hospitalization, etc.)

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field, from an accredited university and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience working with children and families where abuse and violence are identified issues is required. Independently licensed in the State of New Mexico and able to provide supervision to unlicensed professionals, interns, and other mental health professionals. Must possess professional liability insurance.
