Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Director of Advancement leads development, marketing/communications, volunteer engagement, and events, supervising three managers. They own the Drive Engagement priority, set fundraising strategy, strengthen donor/corporate relationships, oversee brand storytelling, grow volunteer capacity, advance McDonald’s partnerships, and expand statewide reach. Ideal candidates bring cross-functional leadership experience and value volunteers and partners as capital.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Collaborates across programs and operations to align messaging, volunteers, partnerships, donor records, and acknowledgments with organizational needs. Leads three managers, supports hiring and performance management, and models respect, compassion, and family-centered care. Requires 5+ years’ nonprofit experience, 3+ years managing teams, cross-functional leadership, fundraising success, strong communication, and CRM/data skills.
