Direct Support Professional

Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Direct Support Professional will provide support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in areas such as daily living skills, hygiene, money management, community inclusion, and independent living.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
Implement care plans and document individual progress
Transport and support individuals in community outings and social activities
Work with teams to provide focused, purposeful support to individuals to make a difference in their lives.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Experience or knowledge in caregiving, patient care, or direct support
Familiarity with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and HIPAA regulations
Strong communication skills and empathy towards others, foster meaningful relationships between individual and their community.
High School Diploma/GED
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Driver's License
