Conservation Program Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage personnel including full-time and seasonal coordinators, oversee hiring and discipline. Direct project management.Handle budget, overseeing project finances and approving expenditures. Lead program development, maintaining partner satisfaction, and expanding partnerships. Oversee Saw Program, ensuring compliance and safety. Implement data collection systems, support design and improvement efforts.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Complete paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
-Attend conferences and training to maximize professional development.
-Provide technical training for Conservation Program in areas of expertise – trail construction and maintenance techniques, sustainable forestry, and tool use/maintenance, etc.
-Other duties as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Deep understanding of public land management partnerships, budgeting, and expertise in outdoor skills like chainsaw use and trail maintenance. Requires 3+ years in Youth/Conservation Corps or related fields, and experience with youth in outdoor settings. Must have excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills, proficient in Google Suite, and strong attention to detail. Education in related fields preferred, with a four-year degree desirable.

$45,000-$49,000
