Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Community Program Specialist advances early childhood education initiatives by supporting community-based programs that benefit young children and families across New Mexico. Working with PCA leadership, this role assists with program development, evaluation, grant support, and stakeholder engagement, while representing PCA and promoting equity, cultural responsiveness, and community collaboration.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Community Program Specialist supports early childhood education programs through planning, implementation, training, technical assistance, and community engagement. This role strengthens partnerships, analyzes program outcomes, supports grant development, and leads collaborative initiatives that improve services, advocacy, and resources for young children, families, and communities across New Mexico.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires expertise in program development, data analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and communication. Candidates should have at least four years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree. Preferred qualifications include bilingual English/Spanish skills, community-based work experience, family engagement, workshop facilitation, and a commitment to supporting young children and families.

$47,429.20 - $60,486.40
