Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Community Finance Director position leads a growing portfolio of nonprofit financial services and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen nonprofit sustainability across New Mexico. The position provides strategic leadership for the Foundation and NMCT's nonprofit financial services portfolio, including fiscal sponsorship, nonprofit accounting and bookkeeping capacity building, a nonprofit bridge loan program, and future nonprofit financial service initiatives.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Leads ACF and NMCT’s fiscal sponsorship portfolio, overseeing onboarding, contracts, compliance, and relationships. Manages nonprofit financial capacity initiatives, including accounting, bookkeeping, and bridge loans. Oversees budgets, grants, metrics, and evaluations while building partnerships with funders, financial institutions, government, tribal entities, and nonprofits. Supports reporting, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of fund accounting experience, with knowledge of nonprofit finance, compliance, accounting, and bookkeeping. Fiscal sponsorship, lending, or grant administration experience preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, along with professionalism, integrity, discretion, and the ability to manage priorities independently and collaboratively.

Salary Range: 
$95,000 – $110,000
