Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Clinical Director of Valencia Shelter Services oversees all victim services for the agency and directs/supervises the counseling and advocacy teams. The Clinical Director provides a range of psychological assessments, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for children, adult survivors, groups, and/or families, as appropriate. The Clinical Director is responsible for reviewing and recommending agency policies to the Executive Director on clinical issues.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Ensures that the policies and procedures related to victim services are in compliance with the requirements of funding organizations. Develop an ongoing annual training program. Works in partnership with the Leadership Team to develop long-range and short-range program goals, objectives, and evaluation procedures designed to meet client needs. Conducts quarterly reviews of client files as required by the agency and funders.
