Main Areas of Responsibility: 

SFRC seeks a growth-minded Chief Financial Officer to join during a time of accelerated strategic growth. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for the overall management for the agency’s $20M budget, development of the financial strategy, and implementation of financial systems. The CFO will have day-to-day responsibility for building and managing the financial activities, serve as a thought-leader on the leadership team, and create financial policies and infrastructure.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The CFO will be an inspiring leader who can work closely with the CEO, direct reports, board members, auditors, and other internal stakeholders to manage the financial and administrative needs of the organization. With an eye towards process improvements and scaling, the CFO will provide strategic oversight on internal systems and streamline business processes for better efficiency. This position will manage a team of 8, with 3 direct reports, which include Directors of Finance, Billing, and IT.

Other Information/Requirements: 

In Person Hybrid Option: Based in Santa Fe, NM or surrounding areas- hybrid environment with the option to work 2-3 days/week in the office and the remaining days working at home/remotely.

Remote Option: US based- must be willing to travel to Santa Fe, NM once a month for 1 week for the first year. Travel and lodging will be reimbursed. After the first year, travel may be reduced based on the team and the organization’s needs. Must be able to work in MST zone hours.
