Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide financial leadership for the organization by working with the Executive Director, Senior Management Team and Board Finance Committee to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. The CFO oversees the financial affairs of the organization. The CFO also outsources and manages IT-related needs with assistance from the Senior Finance Manager. The CFO Oversees the Senior Human Resources Manager as well as Thrift Shop operations.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance. Evaluate and advise the Executive Director on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs and regulatory action. Manage the organization’s cash to maximize the return on investment consistent with our risk profile, needs and investment policies. Oversee and prepare for annual audit, including required tax reporting. Prepare the annual budget.
