Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Prostate Cancer Support Association of New Mexico (PCSANM) seeks volunteer board members to support New Mexicans impacted by prostate cancer through education, advocacy, peer support, and outreach. Duties include strategic guidance, committee participation, and community advocacy. The board meets the third Thursday monthly from 5–6 p.m., plus about one additional flexible hour monthly for committee work. Total commitment: approximately 2–3 hours per month.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ideal candidates are passionate about supporting New Mexicans affected by prostate cancer, including patients, survivors, and caregivers, and are committed to improving quality of life through education, advocacy, peer support, and community connection.
