Behavioral Health Technician

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide support to survivors of human trafficking in a safe house setting. Complete accurate documentation and crossover to other staff. Assist with meal preparation, cleaning duties, general maintenance. Monitor the emergency hotline. Utilize De-escalation strategies. Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to HIPAA requirements. Mandated reporting.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings and training.
○ Must complete 50 hours of continuing training per grant fiscal year (per grant requirements)

Other Information/Requirements: 

3pm - 10 pm on Mon/Tues/Thurs. Other hours may be available
●1 year of social work experience preferred ● Thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment while maintaining a positive solution-oriented and client-centered approach.
● Strong interpersonal skills, ability to be compassionate and firm towards clients.
● Access to Reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and walk, climb or descend stairs, kneel, lift, bend and twist.
