Make a difference in the lives of individuals with Autism, work for Abrazos Family Support Services, a platinum level Family Friendly Business Award winning agency. Abrazos is looking for energetic and passionate individuals to work in the community as registered behavior technicians (RBT) providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
A behavior technician practices under close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The BT will work with families and provide direct services to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder to help them learn skills they need to gain independence and improve their quality of life. Services include the implementation of behavior intervention plans, skills acquisition plans, and assessments as directed by their supervisor. Therapy will be provided in the home and community.
Abrazos will provide RBT and Autism training and the candidate will be required to pass the RBT certification exam, or be currently certified. The ideal candidate will have experience working in ABA with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Candidates should display patience, high-energy, positive attitude, and organized. Must have transportation, car insurance, and a valid NM driver’s license. A candidate will possess a minimum of a High School diploma and pass a background check.
