Associate Major Gifts and Corporate Gifts Officer

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement (DIA), the Associate Major Gifts and Corporate Gifts Officer will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and execution of donor relations and stewardship activities for special constituency donors including, but not limited to, donors recognized through annual giving and planned-giving, donors, and other friends of IAIA.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
In collaboration with the DIA, develops and evaluates fundraising activities to meet the organizational goals of the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA).

Other Information/Requirements: 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
•Must have a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and must have at least two (2) years of successful experience in fundraising, preferably in higher education.
PREFERRED: : Master’s degree and experience working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native cultures with some knowledge of Native American Art.
